“Hormones are only one chapter—true health is the whole story.” — Abigail Chow Bello, NP

Abigail Chow Bello, NP-PHC, MScN

Nurse Practitioner | Educator | Founder of Bello Wellness

Bello (beh-yo) means beautiful—but to me, it’s more than that.  It’s about alignment, balance, and the quiet confidence that returns when your body feels like it belongs to you again.

I believe that when you’re truly supported in your health, it shows—on your skin, in your energy, and in the way you move through life.  That’s the “BELLO” state of health I guide my patients toward.

My Path to Hormone Health

I’m Abigail Chow Bello—a Nurse Practitioner with over 19 years of clinical experience and the founder of Bello Wellness.  My path in medicine began in hospital settings and evolved into something deeper: a committment to care that goes beyond symptoms, beyond rushed appointments, and beyond one-size-fits-all solutions.

Today, my focus is exclusively on hormone health and optimization.  Once I saw the depth of evidence, I knew this was where I could make the greatest impact.  Optimizing hormones may play a powerful role in supporting long-term vitality, disease prevention, and improved quality of life.  But I also learned that prescriptions alone are never enough.  True transformation comes when hormone care is paired with mindful nutrition, consistent movement, and sustainable lifestyle choices.

For me, it’s not just about helping people feel better—it’s about helping them live better, longer.

Science-Based Care That Goes Deeper

My advanced training in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), and HRT was completed through World Link Medical, under the guidance of Dr. Neal Rouzier, MD—a pioneer whose evidence-based approach redefined how I see fatigue, mood changes, metabolic health, and aging.

I earned my ABHRT certification to bring that same level of evidence-based precision into your care—care that doesn’t just manage symptoms, but reaches the root, restores rhythm, and helps the body thrive on its own terms.

At Bello Wellness, I provide virtual hormone consultations to women and men.  Every treatment plan is personalized, based on your symptoms, your labs, and your lived experience.  No guesswork. No one-size-fits-all.  Just real solutions that help you thrive.

Rooted in Whole-Person Understanding

My background includes a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honours.

Over the years, I’ve also pursued additional training in:

  • Prenatal and postnatal care
  • Perioperative nursing
  • Women’s health

Because understanding the full spectrum of your body matters—especially when offering care that sees the whole of you.

Beyond the Clinic Walls

Outside the clinic, I’m a proud mama of six, fluent in English and Spanish.  My days often start with a hot cup of tea and end with cuddles and chaos.  Between school lunches, hair braids, and endless questions, my children have taught me as much about healing and resilience as any textbook ever could.  They remind me every day:

  • That the body wants to heal.
  • That love is medicine.
  • And that thriving is possible—even in the messiest seasons of life.

From reaching hands to quiet memory to graceful maturity—every presence shapes how I care.

Let's Begin

If you're ready to feel like yourself again—and uncover your most energized, balanced, beautiful health—I’d be honoured to walk that journey with you.
