These consultations are not covered under OHIP. If you have a private insurance plan, they might offer some coverage for the cost of the consultations and/or BHRT prescriptions. It is up to you to contact your insurance provider to determine your coverage.

Patients will pay the custom compounding pharmacy directly and the pharmacy will ship your prescription directly via express post with signature. Patient(s) can submit their own receipts to their insurance. Coverage depends on your insurance plan.
 

*Note: patients can keep all receipts and claim tests, consultations and rx/prescriptions on their taxes.

There will be lab tests required before each consult (initial and follow up) to assess levels of the new treatment plan.   Most of the Lab tests that are ordered will be covered under OHIP.  Blood work can be done at your nearest lab.

STEP 1

HEALTH HISTORY QUESTIONNAIRE

After getting in touch with us, you will be asked to complete an online health history form.  Once this form and payment are received, Nurse Practitioner Abigail will review your form and determine the appropriate blood tests needed.  Blood test requisitions will then be sent through a secure email platform (approx 48 hrs from receiving intake forms).  Once blood work results are received Abigail will assess your eligibility for bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) treatment.  If you are eligible, we will contact you and schedule your initial consultation.

STEP 2

CONSULTATION- AN IN DEPTH ANALYSIS

During your initial consultation an in-depth analysis of your health based on your symptoms, health history and test results will be reviewed with you.  You will get a recommendation on how bioidentical hormone replacement therapy’s (BHRT) integrative approach would work for you to provide ”optimal hormone levels”.  If you choose to move forward with treatment, prescriptions will be faxed to the pharmacy the same day.

STEP 3

CONTINUED SUPPORT

We are here for you as your body adapts to a new treatment.  Follow-up appointments will be made every three months for the first year to ensure optimal levels and progress.
